Day 13 of challenge and it's 'little details'.This is something that we find very easy to obsess over,everything from the exact right shade of ivory crepe to the perfectly apt name for a new dress (we favour 90s female musicians) or these vintage lion buttons that can't be used until the exact right design for them reveals itself.Tiny things that all add up to something magic in the end

As part of the challenge, today we've been asked to share another wedding business that complements our own.In a perfect world all our brides would carry bouquet, wear one of her flower crowns or anything else her fantastical mind dreams up.She's a tiny gem of a human being and a true artist whose medium just happens to be flowers. The first image is stolen from her own insta (sorry Jill!) and the others are from a beautiful surprise bouquet she arrived with on our postponed wedding day, like I said, a gem!

So behind on ,I never learn!This one is for 'behind the scenes'.I get very attached to our dresses(Seamie doesn't),to the extent of daydreaming about them hanging waiting patiently for their brides,I don't know if that means I need to get out more or what but I love the idea of the calm moments before a busy wedding day.

launched their campaign for wedding suppliers across social media,It's a tough time for our industry so it's nice to be doing something positive.Todays prompt is the story behind your business.Ours is boring enough,crazy long hours altering dresses others had made,juggling a newborn,teens and a commute all combined with the niggling urge to create all led to us launching our own label.Still long hours and stress but the joy of our designs coming to life or the feeling of excitement when a bride chooses one of our dresses makes everything worthwhile (seriously,we've popped a bottle every time,it never gets old!)

Layered bridal looks and bridal separates can be a bit of an overwhelming concept for brides, they're a new enough trend and sometimes brides feel they're not "formal" enough.We love them though and will forever be fans! Here we've shown 2 totally different looks,sleek and modern and then an ethereal touch with the Jenny overskirt to change it up.We'll share more layered looks soon,if you're still unconvinced by a 2 piece,our separates can also be ordered as full dresses, win win!

Throwback to the gorgeous wearing a layered bridal look. Im going to story this on the mannequin tomorrow to show how it looks altogether, two skirts and a top mean you can change depending on whats happening on the day.

We believe that your bridal outfit is not just for your wedding day. Some brides use the fabric for a christening robe to pass down through the family as a heirloom, others sell or donate so another bride can enjoy a much loved gown. When designing our collection,we always keep in mind ways our pieces can be altered afterwards to wear again. Our Juliana skirt for example, shorten to your perfect length, maybe add some coloured appliques and enjoy the swishy deliciousness (with POCKETS!) for years to come.
