Post breast surgery you are entitled to:

€400 annually towards 2 post surgical bras and 1 breast prosthesis (allowance increases to €650 post double mastectomy)

And

€150 annually towards the cost of 1 swimsuit and 1 prosthesis (allowance increases to €215 post double mastectomy)

This is regardless of medical card status.

A GP letter is required for which we have a template that you can use for ease.

Going on holidays with a prosthesis soon? New airport body scanners can now pick up on people wearing full and partial breast prosthesis. Here are some important tips to ensure you have a stress free start to your holiday!
⭐️You can inform airport security that you have a personal item and can request a private area for a pat down by a security member of the same s*x if you wish to wear it.
⭐️Place your breast prosthesis in your personal hand luggage to avoid pat downs if you wish.
