To all my friends who have hardly seen me in two years 🥲 I will be showing a ‘Work In Progress’ of my Masters major research and design project (not finished until August) at the NCAD Works exhibition launching tomorrow night 🥂
The Circular by Design exhibit is positioned on the ground floor of the design building. Everyone is welcome to pop in and be inspired by all of the incredible graduate work on display 💫

Exhibition runs from Friday 5th to Saturday 13th June.
Opening Hours:
• Friday 5th June: 10 am - 6 pm
Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th June: 10 am - 5 pm
• Monday 8th - Friday 12th June: 10 am - 8 pm
• Saturday 13th June: 10 am - 5 pm

I am currently looking for people from all walks of life, any age, gender or career area, to participate in my MA Circular by Design Research study into Tactile Literacy.

I am specifically looking for a mix of people who are familiar with textiles and those who (think they) know nothing about them!

Anyone interested in collaborating for this research would ideally be based in North Tipperary or the surrounding areas, for ease of travel. My project will span a number of months, from March to August 2026.

Happy International Women’s Day 🌟 Today is a day for celebrating women’s crafts and skills. I am lucky to have been able to pass on sewing skills to so many fantastic ladies over the past few years of teaching 🪡🧵✂️
There is nothing more rewarding than building a community of women empowered with dressmaking skills that have been lost through the generations. In every group we always have so much to learn from each other 👏🏻 ❣️

Barrel leg trousers which we will be making in my upcoming weekend workshop in on March 21st & 22nd 💃🏻
These have an elasticated waistband with pockets, and I will walk you through cutting and sewing your trousers step by step 🪡🧵✂️
This style can also be converted to a straight leg trousers for anyone not keen on the barrel shape!

Feeling extremely grateful to everyone who visited my exhibition in this Tuesday 💫
Thank you to every collaborator who loaned me work for display, and to all of the people who participated in planting flax, cutting a co-created tailored jacket and leaving wonderful handwritten notes.

A great end to Year 1 of my MA Circular by Design 🌱 Looking forward to what this project may become in year 2.
