I had a very productive day today learning more about deadstock and what’s old is new!

📌 While tuning into an amazing webinar with the industries top leading sustainability wizards ( ) I was challenged to think, just how soon do we need to return to re-using abandoned and ‘mis-seasoned’ fabrics… I say ASAP!

•There is almost 15% waste at every step of production in fashion manufacturing.
•A label can save up to 60% and ^ when using deadstock.
•There is millions and millions of yards of deadstock just ready to be made into something new.

This is just some facts that made me wonder WOW, when will we stop thinking it’s uncool to transition to salvaged materials instead of creating excess unsalvageable material. The sky is our limit when it comes to creating, but we have to devise a strategy when in the process of making.

Deadstock doesn’t have to be a ‘limited edition’ collection only💡
