General information
Nancy Lublin founded Dress For Success in 1996 with a $5,000 inheritance.She established the organisation with three nuns from Spanish Harlem who each ran public service programs. Together, they built Dress For Success New York into a vibrant organisation serving women from all over the city and boroughs. By 1998, there were nearly 20 Dress For Success programs. A year later there were close to 50 Dress For Success affiliates in three countries. Dress for Success Dublin opened in 2011, thanks to the foresight and determination of Sonya Lennon. Stylist, Broadcaster, Author and Designer, Sonya Lennon recently added Social Entrepreneur to her remit, launching a global not for profit initiative, Dress For Success Dublin in Ireland. Sonya Lennon has over 20 years experience in the fashion industry. Well-known for her personal style, down to earth approach and raucous laugh, Sonya presented RTɑs Off The Rails for seven seasons. Sonya recently launched Lennon Courtney, a range of accessible wardrobe staples with Brendan Courtney as well as the frockadvisor app which is designed to bring human relationships back to the online shopping experience.
