Kept meaning to get photos of this quilt to share. It was too big to quilt at home, so I sent it off to to do the job for me. I’m so pleased with the result. I highly recommend them. So great to have a service of such great quality easily accessible. I finished the binding on it at a weekend away with .sews it took me the whole weekend to finish it. It measures 92” squared.

I watched a Business Insider video on YouTube recently and it was about this company in Sheffield, England and about how they make scissors ✂️ it was so fascinating and I ordered a pair of fabric and embroidery scissors on the spot. They came yesterday and are absolutely amazing. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Made some changes to my sewing room last year. Raised the height of my cutting table because my back needed it desperately. Finally got my spool holders up and lastly I made a space for Sophie to chill out during our first lockdown last year. Never thought it would be used so much and can’t believe that it’s still in place and we are in another major lockdown a year later.
