This nifty bottle light turns a bottle into a lamp. They’re USB chargeable and last for 5-6 hours, making them much safer than a candle but just as atmospheric. They’re great to give as a gift along with a fancy bottle of something, so folks can get two uses out of the one bottle.

I think it’s no secret that we’re big fans of The Blindboy Podcast around here. Topographia Hibernica has had a permanent place on our shelves in designist since it came out, but we were blown away by the incredibly funny, irreverent & joyful Animals in the Abbey Theatre yesterday. While the material and performances were something else - touching, insightful and very human, what was a delightful surprise was the excellent use of puppets & stage craft.

It’s on as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival and somehow there still seem to be tickets left for it…? I’d snap them up straight away.
