What started as a cowboy hat became a story.

Marc came looking for a hat for the Gorey Show and a concert that weekend. The more we chatted, the more memories found their way into it.

A Gibson Les Paul left to him by his uncle. A pin gifted to him by William from his time in the Air Corps. A broken guitar string, two well-used picks and a shoulder strap. Even a touch of blue for a proud Dub.

Under the brim, we burned one of his favourite Zach Bryan lyrics: “Moving at God Speed”.

And underneath that, something even more personal that only he knows is there.

That's the thing about custom hats. What looks like a hat to everyone else can mean something completely different to the person wearing it.
