We are delighted to announce that we have re-opened our business at Irishtown Athlone (next door to our previous location). Our new branch will offer service to the same high standard that we have always endeavoured to provide to our valued customers.
Services include express dry cleaning, garment finishing, silk and specialist fabric care, wedding gown dry cleaning and preservation, full repair/alternations and a comprehensive laundry service to include, table linen and starching. We are proud to welcome our many customers, old and new, into our new branch and appreciate your continue support.
Shannon Dry Cleaners first opened in Athlone in 1959 and we are now the 3rd generation of our family committed to providing exceptional service and quality in the Dry Cleaning and Laundry industry.
We wish to advise customers, while parking restrictions are in operation in front of our branch, all customers of Shannon Dry Cleaners can enjoy 10 minutes grace parking for drop offs and collections, without charge. It is our intention to speedily support customers in this matter.

CHRISTMAS TRADING HOURS 2024/2025.

We wish to advise our customers that the following branches of Shannon Dry Cleaners will close at 4pm on Tuesday 24th December 2024 and will not re-open until 9am on Thursday 2nd January 2025:
Town Park Centre, Galway, Eyre Square Shopping Centre, Galway, Salthill, Athenry and Mountbellew.

Our Athlone branch in Athlone Shopping Centre, Irishtown remains closed at this time following an incident at the end of September. We hope to have news on its reopening in the New Year.

There will be no collection/deliver services available during this time.

CUSTOMER NOTICE

We regret to inform our customers in Athlone that, following a fire overnight at our branch in the Athlone Shopping Centre, Irishtown, this branch will be closed for business today and over the coming days while we assess the damage. As we know more, we will update you further but we hope to keep the disruption of service to a minimum. We are thankful that nobody was hurt and wish to sincerely thank Athlone Fire Station as well as our staff, neighbours and friends who responded so quickly.

To our customers in Mountbellew and Athenry, service may also be affected in the short term, again we will keep you updated.

It is business as usual in Galway City as these branches are thankfully unaffected by this incident.

ST PATRICKS WEEKEND OPENING HOURS
All branches of Shannon Dry Cleaners will close on Thursday 17th March (St Patricks Day), Friday 18th March (Extra bank Holiday) and Saturday 19th March. Normal service will resume on Monday 21st March.
