See you later 🤍 😢 This is a really hard post to write, I’ve written and deleted it a few times already.
After lots of discussion, deliberation and tears I have made a very difficult decision to press pause on Lou & Belle. There are so many businessy reasons for this decision (rising costs, supply issues, changes in shopping behaviour and many more), but putting my family first for now is my priority. It was already busy juggling two little ones and a biz but adding Danny to the mix has made it all a tad harder. The first 7 months have gone in the blink of an eye and I really want to enjoy the next few months before my little newborn becomes a toddler.
I just want to take this moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported my dream of being a shopkeeper. I’ve always been so passionate about independent retail and having my own shop for the past 3 years wouldn’t have been possible without you.
I have so many exciting ideas for Lou & Belle and what the future might look like, so I really do hope this is a see ya later rather than a goodbye. As soon as I’ve hatched my plan, you’ll be the first to know ❤️
As a thank you for your support we are having a ‘see ya later’ sale, and we’ve reduced everything by 30% (automatic discount) there are some amazing bargains to be had, it’s a really good time to stock up ahead of the festive season.
For now, I just want to say thank you for everything, you guys are the best ❤️
I also want to give a shout out to all my other small business pals out there, your support and advice over the past few years has been invaluable. I love following your dreams and I’ll continue to support you in whatever way I can, keep hustling, you are all amazing 🤩
