Justine Negri is the founder of Sole Careers Group comprising of Sole Training, Sole Recruitment, Sole CV and Sole Coaching. These businesses were established when Justine realised the need for a humane service within this human industry. From personal experience, Justine recognised the distinct lack of friendly, seamless and personalised approaches to relationship building within the employment sector that harnessed comfort for both the candidate and the client. Sole CV has expanded considerably as a business since 2006. More and more people are realising the importance of having an excellent CV tailored, to put them ahead of the competition that is rife out there at the moment. We have received a massive surge in new applications over the past few months, from candidates who have either been made redundant or are worried about the long term future of their current employer. What we find extremely surprising and very frustrating are how many people, supposedly desperate for work, submit poorly written CVs. As the economy worsens, the marketplace is only going to get more crammed with job seekers, so it is more essential than it ever has been to ensure you stand out from the crowd. Our aim is to educate people about the importance of a well written CV. We have provided numerous CV writing workshops to inform and help the unemployed find their confidence again and ultimately further employment. As part of our CV writing service we provide a one hour consultation to establish the applicant’s relevant accomplishments, skills, strengths, experience, qualifications and interests, ensuring they relate to the job they are applying for. By doing this we merge both the functional and skills-based techniques when tailoring CVs in order to get a more holistic view of the person’s life document.
