For brides looking for a more subtle piece, these two creations are from the Daisy collection. Two headpieces that are to be worn at the back; one is to be clipped and the other has combs attached. Both pieces have been hand created in ivory pearls and faceted beads. Ready for purchase

Four pieces of a beautiful beaded collection named Daisy after the main female protagonist in the Great Gatsby. The hairband designs can be worn to the front or the back. The cap is the same from all angles. These are made from ivory pearls but could be created in any colour. The golden pearl cap with tulle bow brings twenties playfulness. Available for purchase. I make each headpiece from design to completion. The bases, the adornments all made with my own hands. I am a milliner and I love my job.

After a consultation, I knew what Elaine was looking for. A subtle and elegant piece made with a row of arches of ivory petite pearls and seed beads. In her words "It was gorgeous and just what I wanted." All my hard work was worth it.

When you have a piece made by a professional, you are able to take advantage of all their research, learning and practicing.
I'm embarking on new designs but I'm having to practice and hone my skills. I get great satisfaction from watching pieces develop. These beautiful woven beaded pieces will be available for purchase soon. # wedding

Another smiling and happy client! A bronze and taupe picture hat with rounded crown and large curved brim. Adorned with ribbon-like trim in sinamay and fabric (which matches the dress perfectly), pearls and seed beads. I was happy to help Brenda complete her mother of the bride look. We also added bronze sinamay bows to her shoes as we decided it would be the perfect finishing touch! # kerrydesigner

A beautiful occasional hat in the palest pink, adorned with a quill spine and ribbon roses. I made this from a base I had made before. The brim originally turned upwards but I took it all apart and flipped the brim. It's now a simple and classic Dior shape with select adornments to complement not compete with your outfit. Available for purchase # motherofthegroom

With the Confirmations over, it's time to look towards the First Communions! Even though veils are still worn, there is a movement into simple headpieces. I have had the pleasure of making a few pieces and I have even been asked to restore a vintage piece. Smaller pieces can sometimes be harder than the big statement ones as the details are so much more intricate. If you just can't find what you are looking for, contact me and see if I can help.
