Ordering a bra online without someone there to fit you can be tricky, so we put together a video showing you exactly how to measure yourself for the right size at home. If you have ever had a bra arrive and it just did not feel quite right, this one is for you. In the video we show you how to measure around your back for your band size, and then how to measure around the fullest part of your chest for your bust size.

From there you simply subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement, and the number you are left with tells you your cup size, so 1 inch is an A, 2 inches is a B, and so on. It really is that simple once you know the trick. We stock a huge range of sizes across brands like Chantelle, Wacoal, Panache, Elomi, Freya, Fantasie and Mey, so once you have your measurements there is plenty to choose from on aines.ie.

How do I measure my band size? Wrap the tape measure snugly around your back and under your bust, keeping it level all the way around.

How do I measure my cup size? Measure around the fullest part of your chest, then subtract your band measurement from this number to get your cup size.

Can I come in for a fitting instead? Of course, we offer a free specialist bra fitting service in store any time you would prefer it done in person.

Aisling struggles to find pieces that fit her properly because she’s so petite (small in size, big in energy, as she’d be the first to tell you). I went through the rails and pulled a few things I thought might work on her frame, and we had great fun trying everything on together. We landed on a few really lovely pieces, though if you’re petite yourself you’ll know the struggle doesn’t end there, so we’ll be back at it again once more stock lands.

Marlena and Aisling are back and this time they’ve gotten their hands on FRNCH, only the second time this label has landed in the shop and honestly we’re a little obsessed. If you haven’t clocked FRNCH yet, it’s giving effortless Parisian energy, like you spent hours getting ready but really you just grabbed it off the hanger and left the house looking amazing. Unexpected prints, flattering shapes, that whole “I woke up like this” French girl thing, it’s all here.
Because it’s still so new to us the girls are having way too much fun trying everything on and showing you how they’d actually wear it, straight from the shop floor in Longford.

We love when this happens. We were in store filming our latest Monari reel when our lovely customer Martina happened to be trying on one of the new season pieces, a beautifully tailored top and trouser combo, and she looked absolutely stunning in it. She kindly agreed to let us share the moment because honestly, seeing it on a real customer says so much more than any styling shot ever could.
