As we closed our doors on Thursday, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the lovely well wishes we received, for your cards, cakes, flowers, gifts & more. We are blown away by the community here In Mitchelstown. It was absolute pleasure to serve you all over the years.

As for the school wear requests coming through by a lot of you, we will announce a date in the new year to accommodate you all, but for now we would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year

“Retirement Notice”

After 96 years we say goodbye

It’s not everyday a family business gets to say it has stood the test of time for almost a century. After 96 incredible years the time has come for us to close our doors.

Since David Condon opened the doors in 1929, himself and his wife Mary ran the business together. We been privileged to serve generations of customers and to be part of so many lives and milestones.

We are deeply grateful to you our loyal customers for your support, friendship and trust throughout the decades.

We want to shine a light on Margaret who has been part of our story for many years. Her commitment, kindness and hard work reflects everything we value and we are deeply grateful for all she has given to the business and to our customers. We would also like to thank all the loyal staff who worked with us over the years.

As we close this chapter we do so with our hearts full of pride and gratitude. Thank you for being part of our story and for allowing us to be part of yours. We will miss our daily interactions so much with our customers most of whom we call our friends.
