Good evening, fellow crafters! So there it is now... The first night we have nowhere to go to - with sadness we have to announce, that our lovely Pearla na Mara has closed its doors forever. We knew, it was a matter of time, but finally facing the fact is hard. And what a wonderful host we always had! Thank you Justyna for your support, for the best coffee and desserts you could get around Galway, what am I saying, IN THE WHOLE WORLD! We're going to miss you!
A few weeks back, founder of String Theory, Mekayla, has left to make her fortune across the big ocean. A big big THANK YOU to you as well, Mekayla, to keep this thing going and organising everything! Good luck, we miss you already!
Unfortunately we have to face another fact: only the two of us, Allison and Aline, who attend String Theory regularly, are left. This is the reason, why we didn't look for an alternative location yet. We really want the whole thing to keep going, but we need more people to join us to make it more fun and success again! We know, the summer has been long and the weather was fine, so we hope, this was the simple reason for declining numbers.
So we need YOU now! We need your feedback, if you are interested to join us (again) for some crafting and chatting on Thursday nights! Thank you, and we hope to welcome old and new faces very soon again in a new place! May the hook and needles be with you!

Nice looking yarn haul from Knitwits. The shop is 5 years old and they're having a sale this weekend to celebrate! Lots of good bargains, so stop in and have a look tomorrow if you get a chance.

Working on this little fellow this weekend. Hopefully will be a birthday present for my friend's sweetest little girl. I just love this book, it's so easy to follow and has lots of neat little details. What is everyone else working on this weekend? Show us!!!

I'm not able to make it to the meeting this week, but everyone is welcome to go and meet up at Pearla Na Mara anyway! We won't be meeting next week due to the Galway Races, so I'll see you all on August 9th! Happy stitching until then!
