We’re delighted to have received €10,000 in funding from the Bank of Ireland Community Fund 2026.

A sincere thank you to Lorna and Padraig from Bank of Ireland Roscommon for visiting us at CycleUp and for their support of our work. It was a pleasure to welcome them to our space and share more about what we do.

This funding will help us continue creating opportunities for skills development, sustainability, creativity, and community connection through textile upcycling and reuse.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us!♻️

Cycling up to CycleUp 🚲♻️

To celebrate Bike to Work Day as part of Bike Week 2026, our manager Aisling cycled 30km to work this morning at the Riverside Centre in Athleague!

By swapping the car for the bike, she avoids an estimated 10kg of CO₂ emissions in a single day 🌍

At CycleUp, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do - from transforming waste textiles into new products to making more environmentally conscious choices in our everyday lives. 🌍💚

What once was waste is now warmth, colour, and comfort 💛♻️

These fabric swatches were originally destined for landfill — but instead, they were transformed into 16 beautiful patchwork throws by our talented product creator Viktoriia.

✨ 1,262 swatches saved from landfill
✨ 16 unique handcrafted throws created
✨ Every piece one of a kind

A reminder that textile waste can become something truly beautiful when creativity and sustainability come together.
