Ten days in Galicia have confirmed, for me at least, that this Slinger fronts up for whatever's going.
Accessed from the top, the main compartment has a few internal pockets of various sizes on either side. There's a front, zippered compartment that's separate from the main one. The back of the bag is rigged with all sorts of webbing to expand its versatility from everyday shoulder sling to hip pack to robust, roomy bar bag for athe hangers on yer bike.
This thing makes me think of the old BBC Dr. Who's Yardis. All sorts of stuff can be packed into this compact carrier - my jumble of everyday stuff still accommodated snacks, small waterbottle and a bottle of wine for a sunset session with the family.
The deep navy marine canvas and blue webbing have come curtosy of . The top and front zips were pulled from decommissioned jackets donated by .
The full frontal is that I can't do this stuff without the support of the sound heads who have gone out of their way to let me at their scraps and discards. It's their time too. Those mentioned above have been key supporters.
The final goods have often crossed a lot of ground. This fact is a tricky concept to communicate. The relationships involved in sourcing these materials are often oblique, temporally disparate and an imperative for the concepts and the final outcomes. This bit I don't always get right but hope I'm not doing too s**t a job of it.
