Hillwalking Radio Club Notice:

Hillwalking Radio Club was formed in 2010 to provide safety communications for outdoor events across the Galtee mountains and its environs. We are fully licensed by COMREG and all our members are trained as Community First Responders. Our club is built on the strength of volunteers, the support of our community and friendships we have built up over the years. Some of the events we support, The Winter Walking Festival, The Slievenamuck Half Marathon, The Pilgrims Walk Glen of Aherlow, The Ramble in Galbally, The Winter Solstice on Slieve Ri and the Lantern and Starlight Walks at Christmas in Galbally.

💜 We're Bringing Our Support Into The Community

This Friday, Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre will be in Cahir Library sharing information about the wide range of supports and services available to individuals and families affected by cancer.

Many people are unaware of the help available to them during and after a cancer diagnosis. Our information stand is an opportunity to learn more about the practical, emotional and therapeutic supports we provide.

Come along, have a chat and find out how we can help.

There will be a meeting at 6 pm this Wednesday 10th of June at the Lisvernane Community Hall to gauge the interest in setting up a Tidy Village Group and we are very fortunate to have Denis and Jonas from Emly Tidy Village to attend to speak & answer questions

The community tidy-up will take place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we will be providing refreshments in hall
