Roisin Dempsey Felt Roisin Dempsey Felt is an Irish Feltmaker. We produce hand felted scarves and gloves from high quality Merino wool and silks. Inspiration comes in many forms.

Roisin Dempsey is a Fashion Designer, Feltmaker and embroiderer. I have been making clothing in various forms since childhood. I returned to Bray Institute of Further Education as a mature student in 2005 and graduated with a Diploma in Fashion Design in 2007. I later returned to BIFE as a tutor and taught sewing and pattern drafting classes. In the recent years I have been producing clothing for

clients from my studio. A change of creative direction has inspired me to become more involved in producing felted pieces. I love the colours and textures of the wool and silk fibres. I enjoy adding texture to pieces through stitch either by hand and/or machine. Nature and the world around me, paintings in particular impressionist paintings and music all help with the creative process. I have taught felt making classes for various groups and individuals.
