Nowadays the term "modiste" is not commonly used. However I do prefer the term for myself.
Why?
Because, modistes would create custom-made clothing and accessories for their clients, taking into consideration the client's preferences & measurements.

Modistes were known for their attention to detail and their ability to create unique and personalized pieces.
On the other hand stylist could be:
Fashion stylist
Editorial stylist
Celebrity stylist etc.

My goal definitely is to create exclusive pieces as per customers' shape.💎
