Hanukkah, the festival of lights, holds a special place in our hearts here in Israel. For eight days, we kindle the menorah, each day adding a candle, illuminating the darkness that surrounds us. In the depths of winter, it reminds us of the immense power within a single light—how collectively, our lights unite into something greater.
Yet, amidst this season of light, darkness struck our nation on October 7th. A tragedy shook us to our core, leaving behind unimaginable pain and loss. In the face of such darkness, we found strength in unity, supporting each other through acts of kindness and unwavering solidarity.
🤝 Thank you for being part of this shared light. Let us carry forward this unity, not because of tragedies that remind us, but because we recognize that a mother's pain, a child's pain, transcends all borders. Let us pray for peace and continue to build bridges with our neighbors.
🕊️ May this unity endure, fostering a future where such atrocities are mere memories, and peace prevails for all.
