Nice to meet you, I'm Rony, the designer of Queen Size.
I founded Queen Size in 2017, during the plus size revolution in Israel.
Plus size woman began to make their voices heard and demanded beautiful clothes in a wider range of sizes.
In the beginning, when I started my brand I heard a lot of reactions from customers like:
But you're not fat at all. How can you design clothes for plus size women? You can not understand a curvy woman. You're skinny. What is the connection between you and plus sizes ?!
Not so long ago I myself used to be plus size. I have come across so many suspicions and fears of stunning women who find it hard to believe that in the not-too-far past, really recently, I myself did not believe that there is a world for me that is not just black and over size.
A world that is colorful. happy. allowing. That can empower me and make me feel like a fashionista. Exactly at my weight and size at that moment. No diet tomorrow. Just as I am.
My brand was born out of my personal need. Out of lack and deprivation.
It started from me. At first I just started designing clothes for myself. I created a world of possibilities. I designed clothes like I always dreamed I would have. Those who made women on the street ask me, "Where did you buy the dress you're wearing?"
And that's the essence of our clothes - to make you feel wow. And come on, you deserve it.
