OME NANU meaning is a play on words in Nahuatl, a native language of the central region of Mexico, and Mixteco, one of the native languages of Oaxaca. OME is number two in Nahuatl and NANU is hands in Mixtec. So this name is for honor the first sacred hands that made the shawl fabric or raw material and my hands made the garment piece or attire.
