A in a mid century church banner.
פורטרט עצמי שלי מלפני כמה שנים, זמן לא רב אחרי שבמקרה ובמזל, התגלתה לי מלנומה על הפנים, ועברתי ניתוח להסירה, שהחלטתי לרקום עכשיו. היפסטרים בשדרה שאלו לא פעם, כשהצלקת היתה טריה, איפה עשיתי את זה, ואיזה מגניב זה. היא כבר פחות בולטת היום, והיא אחת מהרבה צלקות, גם כאלו שמקועקעות עלי, גם כאלו שנמצאות בסוף של מילים שנישאות באוויר. תזכורת לזה שדברים שאנחנו מתמודדים איתם משאירים בנו סימן, אבל הם גם תזכורת לזה ששינוי הוא לא דבר שאפשר לברוח ממנו, שאפשר למצוא בו גם יופי, ושהמושלם החדש לפעמים מסתתר בפגמים.
