Our Story
Saffron Lifestyle Traders Private Limited is into retailing since last 20 years, run by their owner / Managing Director, Mr. Hitesh Vaswani. This business was started with an exclusive store of Nike, and then in 1998 Levi’s rolled out with their 1st exclusive Levi’s Store in Gujarat. Till 2004 this group had only one Levi’s store, but in Oct 2004 when he had a vision of retailing Levi’s started their 3200 sq feet store at Satellite road in Ahmedabad. Saffron traders in 2006 opened 4 more stores with Levi Strauss India (P) Ltd.
From 1st of November 2008 the Partnership firm “Saffron Traders” was converted into a Private Limited Co “Saffron Lifestyle Traders Pvt Ltd”
In 2009 Saffron Lifestyle Traders Pvt Ltd, opened its 4th store of Levi’s in Infiniti Mall. In 2011 Saffron Lifestyle Traders Pvt Ltd, opened its 5th Levi’s store at Center One Mall, Mumbai and 5th Levi’s store at Alpha Mall, Ahmedabad. With the opening of this store Saffron Group now has 15 Levis store spread across Ahmedabad, Anand, Baroda, Rajkot and Mumbai.
Saffron also got associated with Heatwave Shoes, a lifestyle shoe brand from Singapore and Paese Cosmetics, a high-end cosmetic brand from Poland.
In 2009, Saffron also signed up with 1 more international brand United Colors of Benetton for 9 stores. These stores were a set of new stores to be opened & Old stores to be taken over. The take over of stores was to happen in phased manner today Saffron has 15 stores with United Colors of Benetton spread across Ahmedabad, Anand, Baroda, Rajkot, Gandhidham, Mumbai & Vapi.
Today Saffron is looked at as a big retail group in Gujarat with more close to 96 stores by the end of the year and having a full fledged staff working under the Managing Director.
