Shot on a wonderful winter morning in February, this shoot was creatively executed for . . .
We wanted to shoot amidst nature and show the simplicity of it along with its beauty. Thus, we drove to Gujarat’s finest bird sanctuary, Nalsarovar, Sanand at 5 am so that we could reach in time for the right light. It was serene, with a lot of migratory birds all around us and the tall grass in the lake made it seem endless. 🌿
We were hopping islands to change in our portable changing tent and pushing the boats in different angles to get the perfect shot as soon as possible. Or the boat would immediately move or the pose would go or the light would be too harsh! We also had to get back and create other looks in the city on time. 🏕
Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the event has been put on hold and we could not launch this in March as per our original vision.
Now that we are restricted to our homes and working within four walls, we have realized how we took for granted going outside to shoot in the arms of nature. It was extremely easy to roam about till we found the perfect location and now we can only wait for such a time to come again.
Till then lets decide to focus on one of the positive outcomes of this lockdown. The clearer skies, the blooming flora and the city buzzing with chirps. 🌾🕊
We need to let the nature breathe so its easier for us to breathe as well. ✨
