Going to a temple is soulful and godly , but bringing her home- with our own hands, effort and devotion, is a feeling of its own.

We get to experience this day every year, yet somehow, the excitement and happiness only seem to grow. Every year, we take one more step in celebrating Her divine presence as Varamahalakshmi through our Devi Alankaram. Seeing her beautifully adorned and completely at home in our own space brings out the little girl in me.

What began as a humble offering is slowly becoming a cherished tradition. With every passing year, we feel blessed to see Pashudh growing, expanding not just in what we create, but in the dreams we carry and the blessings we receive.

The Sowbhagyam we seek is one of abundance, grace and continued growth. With Her divine blessings, may it continue to unfold and expand in every beautiful way.

May Varamahalakshmi shower us with prosperity, grace and eternal Sowbhagyam, and continue to guide Pashudh towards greater beginnings. 🙏✨

Varamahalakshmi is a day of beautiful preparations - dressing our homes, bringing out the jewellery, arranging the pooja, and most beautifully, adorning our Lakshmis.

At first glance, it’s the red and gold that catches your eye. But look a little closer, and there’s much more to this Kanjivaram.

The tissue body is woven with an intricate floral grid, giving the silk a richness that you can see even before the motifs come into focus. Then come the Rudraksha motifs, delicately woven in gold zari and brought to life with subtle touches of green and yellow Meenakari.
