Every bolt of the finest weave that left the Indian subcontinent passed through those waters turquoise as the Gulf itself, traded by hands that understood that silk was never just fabric. It was currency. It was power. It was the thing empires were built to protect.

We asked ourselves what if the pallu was a painting? Not printed. Not embroidered. Woven. Two Ravi Varma masterworks Radha Krishna on Purple Mauve linen silk, Lady with the Swan on Brown Coffee brought to life by weavologists who understood that a painting this sacred deserves nothing less than precision. We wanted a saree that felt like golden hour draped in silk.
Peach and rosy sand at the body. Terracota at the border. Lite copper and silver zari running through all of it in a Running Border weave that carries warmth from one end to the other. No single colour takes over they move together the way the best things do.
