Exploring the Art of Prints It
India is a land of colors, crafts, and traditions-and our prints are proof of it! Each print carries centuries of artistry, regional heritage, and a unique story.
Block Prints (Rajasthan & Gujarat) - Hand-carved wooden blocks dipped in natural dyes, creating intricate floral and geometric motifs.
Bandhani / Tie & Dye (Rajasthan & Gujarat) - Tiny dots and
patterns made by tying fabric before dyeing, symbolizing festivity and joy.
Kalamkari (Andhra Pradesh & Telangana) - Hand-painted or block-printed stories on fabric, inspired by mythology and nature.
Ikat (Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat) - A weaving technique where threads are dyed before weaving, resulting in blurred yet stunning patterns.
Ajrakh (Kutch, Gujarat) - Ancient block-printing using natural dyes like indigo & madder, known for its symmetry and earthy tones.
Bagru Prints (Rajasthan) - Vegetable-dyed prints with bold
motifs, created by the Chhipa community.
Dabu Prints (Rajasthan) - A mud-resist hand-printing
technique with rustic, vintage charm.
From earthy hand-block prints to vibrant tie-dyes, Indian prints are not just fashion-they’re wearable heritage.
