Natural Madder and Iron Rust (Kashish) compliment this design. Combination of Mud-Resist and Block print made the design very authentic and organic.

No two pieces are the same and dyes keep talking to each other in abstract language.

Wishing all a very Happy NewYear.

This year was very Important to us. We discovered that , the smallest of act can create a difference. We need to start at some point of time , and this time is now.

A lot of experimenting , and wait. Its paying off. We got some good customers who are appreciating the work we are doing.

The collaboration with artisans are going in another phase and we will meet you there.

You can almost smell Mud and Natural Indigo , in this modern rustic style.

The organic lines plays an interesting role in making this beauty. Loved the way Indigo plays hide and seek with Chanderi Silk cotton.

Its started as a experiment in Natural Indigo. We wantde experiment with diffrent kind of techniques and crafts.

Artisians from Akola and Bagru were upfront in making this happen.

and created this shibori (tie-dye) masterpiece in Handloom slik modal saree. We got rave reviews for this design.

Here also we see an uneven play of dyes , with as it interacts mud resist (दाबू) and block printing.

Every piece is different from each other , made in a very slow handmade process by master artisan

Introducing a new design in natural dyes - मंजिष्ठा , ( Manjistha ) / Madder and (कशिश ) Kashish (Iron Rust).
Its a complicated process to add the madder red colour on the fabric along with Kashish , mud-resist.

Its done with hand , and for every application the fabric needs to be re-processed.

The colours interplays with each other and grey space to create an artwork in Chanderi cotton silk.
