Doodledry made its runway debut at the recently held Odisha Fashion Week at Lemon Tree Premier, Bhubaneswar, marking a special milestone for the brand.
I had an opportunity to showcase Doodledry's smart babywear capabilities and then grace the designer ramp alongside the wonderful multi‑talented "dood‑girl" and our showstopper, Charchika, crowned BEAUTY ICON (INDIA).

Wishing all Handloom Enthusiasts a Happy National Handloom Day.

The Swadeshi Movement, launched on 7th August 1905, championed indigenous industries, especially handlooms, as a form of economic resistance to colonial rule. In honour of this legacy.

The Government of India declared 7th August as National Handloom Day in 2015.

YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHOM TO MEET AND WHERE TO MEET! Isn't that fascinating :)

So, my partner and I, Sarit Prajna Sahu, try to be innovative in not just our products but, also in choosing the best place to hang out for our meetings. As ardent lovers of books, we hopped on to Champaca Bookstore which is located in one of the busiest streets of Bengaluru.

And here is what caught our eye-a book on Odia literature and, we found ourselves flipping the pages of the book :). It's always a nice feeling and a proud moment to see a touch of our Motherland wherever we go.

The feeling is priceless and with this feeling, we came back with loads of laughter, pride, and a huge load of action points to keep us busy all through the week :) :)

I am grateful to India SME Forum for providing me with this opportunity to be part of the launching program of India Xports.

Sharing my entrepreneurial journey has always encouraged me to be more responsible towards my commitments.

It was a proud moment to share the stage with such successful and wonderful women and our Honourable Minister of State for MSME, Labour & Employment, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje Mam.

The mere saying is being drawn into the action by Sanjay Panda Sir, the founder of the non-profit organization SHRADDHA - Society for Development of Human Resources through Handloom and allied activities.
A lot of wonderful work is done silently in this organization and I take this opportunity as a life member to present it here.
The amazing thing about SHRADDHA is that while everyone is busy promoting the buying and selling of handloom garments, the organization is currently training 90 women to weave the magic with the guidance of dignitaries like Sanjay Sir and Surendra Patra Sir.
KUDOS to SHRADDHA.
This post is about a recent meet-up we had online and offline. And a bit about SHRADDHA too.
