Today we celebrate International Women's Day, this year leading with the theme .
Ive made a huge change in my life by trying to balance being a corporate employee, influencer and starting my own business.
It hasn’t been easy to say the least, most women aren’t encouraged to be entrepreneurs which is why women comprise only 13.76% of the total entrepreneurs in India.
Equity means recognizing that we do not all start from the same place and must acknowledge and make adjustments to imbalances, just like all women aren’t given the same opportunities as their male counterparts to take on leadership roles.
I’m lucky that there are people who are rooting for me, amazing women that encouraged me to move forward, my family, close friends and even complete strangers.
The path to success is never linear, especially for a female entrepreneur but I truly hope that we can all build each other up 💕
