We at are ready with our first ever curated collection of handloom sarees!

This collection is called भोर (read as Bhor which means Dawn in Hindi)! We chose this name for a number of reasons, it's a new dawn for us folks at UMI and with Ugadi & with other Spring festivals being around the corner we felt it was an apt name for our first ever collection. To symbolically represent this, the colors used to dye the sarees in this collection are from the spectrum of sunrise colors.

This collection has sarees designed in-house! We have used the softest breathable and for each saree to ensure all day comfort while not compromising on the fall and the drape of the saree!

Each saree is deconstructed and reconstructed again using an interplay of different complementing handloom fabrics that are juxtaposed on each other and is adorned with zari, aariwork, gotapatti, motifs handmade tassels etc. Each saree comes with an interesting blouse handloom fabric that we have curated and styled in-house. Goes without saying that each saree is dyed with natural organic environment friendly vegetable dyes!
