It all started when I had to give odd jobs to a woman in need from our village Avalahalli. Since she had learnt to a use a sewing machine some time back, we found a few things to make. She saved small amounts in a piggy bank in my house to avoid her abusive husband from snatching it away from her. It has been a year now and our team consists of 6 women from Avalahalli who can now support their own families with pride. You brought us smiles and liberation
