Inspired by the stories of the yore and the wizardry that only his mind can think of are his inspirations. Welcome to a grand evening to the theatre which combines the opera, magicians, jugglers, men and women of the flying the trapeze and all the animals from stories, welcome to a world of grand burlesque masquerade only seen through the eyes of the designer!

Exciting and fun moments at … imagine that graceful swan (read ballerina) as she slowly sways down to tunes and finishes as her hand holds the sides of the skirt, slowly widening it and taking it upward all the way above her head till only her face is shown like that of an outstretched swan… imagine 0.015 kms or 15 metres or 600 inches of flare and lace all playing the game in graceful unison… *x

Working with my latest collection - Game of Lights. We do not see lights but it enables us to see the beauty around us. Light is the giver of life, the beauty that enables life to prosper, to grow and to be resplendent in all of life forms. True to its essence, I have been working on a collection, wherein the beauty is discovered when the light is enabled. The right amount of light, the circuitry, the materials that react to light and let it pass, the materials that block and create shadows. A 4 year old research in making the perfect balance of light and aesthetics. Come, seek out my journey with me in understanding possibilities and to seek out the beauty around us all the time that we fail to notice. The beauty that is inherent in all of us and around us. Just because we don't recognise it, doesn't mean it's not there, that's the beauty as a designer I love to seek while it plays hide and seek with us mortals.

It was such a pleasure to be making these costumes to the fashion team of MVIJ college team of budding doctors with the theme of the Spanish bull fighting. It was a work with a difference and a break from the regular humdrum…. And to think creatively from the regular routine. Thank you guys for giving us this opportunity to make you guys look dashing on stage. PS: they came winning with the third place for their show….

Work update… The next set of experiments towards the new collection- games of light- that source of sight… we don’t see light, but it enables us to appreciate the beauties we get with the gift of sight, a explanation to show the play of light which enables the sight of the design… my next avante garde collection… nags 3.0… might take a year to finish this but my evil mind has started playing it’s games, now there’s no stopping it anymore… STAY TUNED FOLKS… updates might be slow but I assure you something between the divine and the underground vine… *x
