Making small mindful choices and making it a part of my lifestyle.

We end up generating a huge lot of plastic waste from our households, through the cleaning agents we use at home. After every use we simply dispose the plastic bottles. So I wanted to give these dissolvable capsules by a shot. You gotta just add them to a litre of water and the cleaning agent is ready.

Making conscious effort every way possible, is the need of the hour. Be it consumption or managing waste, every drop in the ocean counts, and small as it may be, every effort counts.

This is a real problem and a Fashion crime. We end up using only 20% of our wardrobe. The other 80% is forgotten for multiple reasons:
1. A favourite outfit doesn’t fit anymore
2. No longer your style
3. Worn it too many times
4. Haven’t found an appropriate occasion to wear it
Every time we are buying more, we are adding to the clutter & confusion (what to wear), and we even loose track of what all we actually have.
Instead one should be mindful of what they have and optimise their existing wardrobe. A cleaning every 6 months to 1 year is recommended. What you don’t wear or can’t wear or have not worn yet, can be segregated in 3 sections:
1. DONATE
2. RESELL
3. UPCYCLE

UPCYCLE - is when you can create a completely new outfit from something that is lying unused in your wardrobe, which you are not ready to let go of.

With the festive season around the corner, the time when we go on a buying spree. Instead, this year, let’s do our yearly cleaning with the intention of creating a completely functional and an optimal wardrobe and contribute towards fashion sustainability.
