Devaki's was started in 1996 by the mother and daughter duo, Shanthi and Madhavi as a home industry which has grown to be a small scale industry. In addition to taking orders for block printing and embroidery in retail as well as wholesale, we market our own products. - Rather than an allover block print on the kurta or short top, use the block print to highlight only specific points and then enhance the prints with embroidery.
- Pick up plain dupattas and make them totally designerwear with elaborate designing according to your taste.
- Cotton or silk, chiffon or crepe, tussar or Binny silk - we work with any fabric that is brought to us. Block printing works best on natural fabrics like cotton and silk but blended fabrics take it on well too!
- Pick up plain handloom curtains from the market or fabric of your choice depending on whether you want sheer, transparent or opaque and get it printed according to the theme that you have used to do up the rooms - be it the kids rooms or the parents'.
