STYLING SERIES : INDIAN COLORS FOR THE FUTURE - 4 colors to replace WHITES in your Indian Wardrobe.
β€Œ
This is our first selection of colors and they are so versatile, neutral and oh soh different from the regular white kurtis or dupattas.
β€Œ
β€Œ1) ECRU - Is unbleached white, different from cream which is a sharper color
β€Œ2) TAUPE - Not white but grey with a slight tinge of brown
β€Œ3) IRIDESCENT TAUPE - Lighter than Taupe, with more white
β€Œ4) HOT CHOCOLATE - The exact color you get when you stir your hot chocolate ;)
β€Œ
How to wear these colors ? - Use this color freely as a kurta or the dupattas shown in the picture. For prices and detailing, please see the previous posts
β€Œ
Pairing of dupatta - use it on colors like Reds, Maroons, Wines, Berries, Mustards and Rusts. You can also try pastels like peach and pinks for this one. Try to stay off the cooler colors like blue since the combination could end up being too dull.
β€Œ
If you are using a kurti in this color use the above colors as dupattas or even bright cigarette pants.
β€Œ
Use pearl or silver jewelry, silver or grey toned footwear and matching lipstick and you are good to go.
β€Œ
Stay tuned for more of these series, we hope to help you style an entire new wardrobe for you. 😊

STYLING SERIES : INDIAN COLORS FOR THE FUTURE - color no:4 - TAUPE but IRIDISCENT
β€Œ
This is our absolute fave because it's so versatile, neutral and oh soh different from the regular neutrals.
β€Œ
If you are like me you'd probably have too many of the same color🎨. We tend to play safe and stick to the same colors over and over. So here's a look at how we can bring the same colors in a new way to our wardrobes.
β€Œ
Focus color : WHITE
β€Œ
If you are a white lover, you most likely prefer space and peace, and you probably prefer to brighten the attire up by colorful dupattas. Agreed that it's a color which goes with most colors, but too much of whites and your wardrobe will be too soft. So here's a color that you can choose to replace white with - TAUPE
β€Œ
This is not white but grey with a slight tinge of brown and it can be pared with most contrast or monochromes.
β€Œ
How to wear it? - Use this color freely as a kurta or the dupatta shown in the picture ( semi jute silk with texture and handmade tassels and silver gota patti - sold out).
