I first designed this colour story last year, and seeing it finally come to life now feels deeply special — especially because this is also the very first motif I ever designed.
What began as a small idea, sketched with so much feeling, returns in the most perfect season — somewhere between Nabobarsho nostalgia and the fever of IPL. 💜✨

So this one simply couldn’t belong to anyone else but my beloved — a little love letter to Kolkata, to nostalgia, to match-day emotions, and to all things purple and gold.

Made in 100 count cotton Jamdani, this piece was created for long, sun-drenched days — light on the skin, easy to wear, and full of quiet detail.
The fresh green base, touched with hot pink thread highlights and delicate zari work, brings together something playful, vibrant, and softly festive — like a garden catching light at just the right hour.
What I love most about this piece is how alive it feels.
The colours hold that beautiful contrast of calm and joy — earthy, bright, and full of character without trying too hard.

Made in 100 count cotton Jamdani, this piece was designed for the kind of summer we know too well in Kolkata — bright, humid, exhausting, and always asking for a little softness, ease, and relief, much like the quiet comfort of a cold drink in the middle of the heat.

What makes this piece even more special to me is that for the very first time, I designed the motif myself.
The brown base, with antique zari and hints of sky blue, came together exactly the way I imagined — warm, fresh, and full of feeling.
Even the name came from a place very close to me — music.
I binge-listen to Bengali songs all the time, and somewhere from there, Bonolota stayed with me.
