Dongria sarees are woven by the Dongria kondh tribe, they are located in the Niyamgiri hills in the state of Odisha. Black colour yarns are used to weave this saree. Motifs inspired by the tribal lifestyle at the hills are woven for the pallu of the saree by using extra multi color threads. Temple motifs woven by extra threads enrich the beauty of the saree. This saree comes with attached striped blouse piece with traditional border.
