Individual activity - each child follows his/her own learning pace;
Freedom - along with guided responsibility;
Reality - facts and real-life themes are followed in every aspect;
Material - scientific ! child-sized ! activity based !;
Activities - based on past achievements, fulfilling present needs, and preparing for future tasks;
Structure - mixed age groups, self initiated learning, meaningful arranged activities. At SCHOOL OF LIFE, there is no force, no spoon feeding and no memorizing. In this environment of freedom and love, the child easily develops concentration, motivation and self discipline. We have no external rewards or punishments, no explicit tests and homework which puts unjustified pressure on the child as well as parents. Hence, without any fear the child develops strong basic concepts, and learn faster and better. Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, credit their Montessori school education as a major factor behind their success. Gandhiji was a keen supporter of Montessori system of education, and personally taught all the children in his Ashrams using a similar technique. Some of the alumni or supporters of Montessori schools have been Rabindranath Tagore, Ratan Tata, Thomas Edison, Leo Tolstoy, Dalai Lama, and Aamir Khan. SCHOOL OF LIFE introduced this authentic Montessori school in 2010, for the first time in Odisha, for the benefit of our children and parents. Admissions are currently open in academic programs: Toddler (1.5 - 2.5 yrs) and Pre-primary (2.5 - 3.5 yrs). We also run Nursery, LKG and UKG classes based on an innovative method known as Multiple Intelligence. School van is available for transport.
