The traditional handloom and textile products of Assam have tremendous demand in itself. But there is always a huge gap between demand and supply of handloom and textile products in Assam. Because, through high potentiality the use and exercise of human resource in production of handloom and products to meet the demand is not done in sufficient manner. On the basis of such
lake in supply and production to mitigate the high demand, Smt Rupjyoti Saikia Gogoi reside a Village called Bosagaon, Bokakhat Sub-Division Golaghat district Assam to concentrate and provide training , every other facilities needed to the local weavers for the production of handloom and textile products. In 2004 she was the pioneer of the movement established M/S Artistic Traditional Textile was regd. bearing the registration no 18181101220 which then started with a new outlook which comprised training the uneducated and untrained village weavers ( Women) of Bokakhat sub divisional area. With all those techniques the enterprises was organized the village weavers for a better potential. This program influenced the concerning area wholly and it brought a most happening impact among the weavers. Along with the establishment of the enterprises, many of the rural women of Bokakhat sub divisional area have been financially benefited out of this program. Mission & Vision
The enterprise targets in producing quality products with the use of modern forms tools and equipments. Since then it has been producing quality products which has its demand both in the national and international market. Not only producing it has set up a sales outlet at kaziranga under the name of kaziranga Haat. Besides direct dealing with the domestic and Foreign Visitors in the outlet, it had expanded its sales by supplying the products to different sales agencies and showrooms to different parts of the country. As mentioned above this quality product has its demand in the international market. This outlet has received a number of orders handloom and Textile from country like France, Germany and UK. The enterprise also targets to grow up and build every possible and necessary aspects of marketing and distribution of the outputs produced in this small scale industry. Now theenterprise has been able to develop twoproduction units one of at Kuruabahi and other at Rajabari consisting of more than 10 villages each. This has opened a great earning opportunity for the village weavers. The income source of not less than ten families completely depends upon the enterprise, which includes eighty women weavers who benefit out of it directly and not less than 60 women are indirectly involve in the small scale industry. The enterprise has trained more than 2300 hundred weavers till date and created awareness on how the handloom and Textile industry called is good and easy source of earning for the poverty sicken people of this region. The enterprise has not only limited its boundary in producing handloom and textile products but it has started working on social development and public welfare as well. It conducts programs on women literacy and welfare, child development, anti-alcohol activities, population prohibition, small saving units and self-help group etc. Thus it plays a vital role to help in improving the eco social scenario of the concerning area.
