Eco print (also called eco-printing or botanical printing) is a natural dyeing and textile printing technique that uses leaves, flowers, bark, and other plant materials to transfer their shapes and natural pigments onto fabric. It is a laborious process and quite often does not become successful - it's a matter of chance and probability.

Here is a very beautiful eco printed gachhi tussar saree where the base colour - a mix of dusty pink and terracotta has been done with madder and the on top of that the colours of the leaves are coming from the extracts from those leaves.
