Crafted using hand embroidery- this meticulous version is the reimagination of the ancient handiwork. The peacock feathers are normally made with dabka or nakshi, but feathers in this particular piece is made of thread to represent actual feel of a live feather. Mixtures of dabka, sippi, moti, sali, nakshi and threads are used for embellishing this mahroon velvet suit. For the tie dye dupatta and its sequenced border, I reimagined the conventional scallop designs into Jaipuri arches.
