layered sequin and stone work carries this piece, discs set to overlap rather than sit flat, each one centred with a small stone or mirror, built into a scalloped border and scattered as loose florets across the body. the ground beneath it carries its own woven medallion pattern, motif after motif repeating quietly under the embroidery rather than competing with it. the design is what’s being showcased here, not the fabric it sits on. this exact combination of embroidery and layout can be worked onto the fabric of your choosing, cotton, silk, or otherwise, once we’ve confirmed together what the technique will hold on that particular cloth. every stage designed and embroidered entirely in-house.
