MAS India was pleased to welcome the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, to the groundbreaking ceremony of our new project in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, alongside the Hon’ble Industries Minister, MLAs, and senior government officials.

Malik Ahamadeen, CEO of MAS India, welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the importance of this milestone. The team also shared an update on the progress of the first unit, Toray MAS Apparel and the future potential of the project.

We were also honoured by the presence of Satoshi Oki, Director of Toray Hong Kong and Teruki Umeda, Managing Director of Toray MAS Apparel India whose continued support is crucial to the success of this initiative.

We look forward to continued collaboration with our stakeholders in Odisha, driving MAS' future growth plans in India.

This International Women’s Day, MAS India came together to celebrate the spirit of womanhood through meaningful moments and shared joy. From welcoming our women employees with flowers and thoughtful gifts, to a dance talent showcase and engaging games, the day was filled with good energy, appreciation and connection.

The celebrations also featured a special session by our chief guest, Jennifer Difiva, Deputy Development Commissioner at IFI, along with a medical camp and awareness programme at Udya, Prana, TMF and MINC to support health and wellbeing.

A special lunch brought everyone together, where we shared meals with children from a local orphanage; spreading the celebration beyond our walls.

We believe that when women are supported, celebrated and empowered, they create momentum that inspires everyone around them.

MAS India is looking for a skilled Electrician cm AC Technician to join our team in Odisha.

This is a combined role for someone who brings both electrical and HVAC expertise to the floor and takes equal pride in both.

What you'll be doing:
- Electrical installation, maintenance & fault rectification across panels, wiring, DBs and control circuits
- Installation, commissioning & servicing of split, cassette, VRF/VRV systems and chiller plants
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance across both disciplines
- Maintaining service records, logbooks and safety standards

You bring:
- Hands-on experience across both electrical and AC/HVAC systems
- Knowledge of refrigerants, load balancing, and earthing standards
- A commitment to safe, uninterrupted operations

February 4 is observed globally as World Cancer Day, a reminder of the importance of awareness, prevention, and early detection in the fight against cancer.

In recognition of this day, on 5th February, MAS India organized a Cancer Awareness session in collaboration with Gleneagles Hospital. Dr. Azmi Saundraya K, Radiation Oncologist, engaged our team in an insightful discussion, addressing key facts and common myths surrounding cancer and reinforcing the importance of timely screening and preventive care.

By empowering our people with knowledge, we take a step forward in building a healthier and more informed community.

At MAS India, Pongal is a reminder of who we are and how far we’ve come!

Across all MAS India facilities, our teams came together dressed in traditional attire, celebrating the spirit of togetherness that defines this festival of harvest and hope. From energetic volleyball and badminton matches to vibrant rangoli creations and joyful Pongal games, the day was filled with colour, laughter and connection.

Winners were recognised and awarded by Malik Ahamadeen and Kam Raghavan. The day was made even more special as Malik and Kam shared their Pongal wishes with the teams, inspiring everyone to move forward with gratitude and unity.

Moments like these reflect the strength of our people, who grow with confidence and celebrate every step together.

When Ovya Yogesh stepped into Intimate Fashions India as an intern from NIFT Chennai, lingerie was unfamiliar territory. But with her curiosity, she built her craft, and that’s when her journey truly began.

From learning the art of product development alongside technicians, merchandisers and sampling teams, to gradually owning brand projects for global names like Jockey, Wacoal, Zivame and Decathlon, every step added a
new layer of confidence.

What started with small tasks evolved into full design developments. With mentors who believed in her eye for detail and passion for end-to-end creation, Ovya transitioned into her role as Executive Designer, turning ideas into collections that build strong global partnerships.

Today, she continues to design with purpose, precision and pride. Her story is one of growth, trust and what
happens when creativity is given the right support to thrive.

The Changemakers of MAS India came together for our very first Townhall at Trent MAS Fashion, with colleagues from Udyat, Prana, Intimate Fashions India and Odisha Team joining in virtually.

Setting the tone for the year ahead, Malik Ahamadeen, CEO of MAS India, shared the 2026 roadmap and the long-term vision for India; grounded in integration, growth and collective ownership.

The session struck the perfect balance between insight and interaction, with a fun team quiz bringing energy into the room, followed by an open Q&A where colleagues engaged directly with the CEO, Director of Manufacturing and Head of HR.
