There is so much to a Kanchipuram Silk Saree that we don't see once it reaches the store.

On our latest visit to Kanchipuram, we spent time with our weavers and followed some of the processes that happen before and during weaving, from the initial preparation to the zari and finally the saree taking shape on the loom.
