This series began with something simple we kept noticing — the colours and textures of valaipoo. The deep maroon, muted olive greens, soft yellows, and layered folds slowly became references while working on the sarees.

We started by pulling colours directly from the flower and pairing them with Mangalagiri weaves that carried the same quiet richness. Over time, the collection became less about recreating the flower literally and more about retaining its mood through colour, contrast, and simplicity.
