I’m so proud to finally open the doors to our very first ZAZI Boutique in the heart of Amsterdam 🥹🔑

Set inside a beautifully preserved 17th-century bakery, this space was brought to life by more than 110 volunteers (!!) and three incredible artists who hand-painted every room.

More than a boutique, it’s a home for craftsmanship, community and connection 🧵🪡

I can’t wait to welcome you in 🤎

✨ A special thanks to ✨
Ellamari Auroila | Ella - Design Atelier for the gorgeous swans
Mattia Papp for the ceiling murals of the cosmic room
Maia Bunge Bendjeunian for the symbols in the boutique
for sourcing all the antique furniture
Evert Groot Interieurstoffen for the curtains
for the flowers
The entire ZAZI team for making this happen 💞
All the volunteers for helping us build this new home 🌟

10 years of ZAZI 🥹

Ten years ago, I wasn’t planning to start a fashion brand. I was teaching yoga in the parks of Berlin. I simply had a dream that led me to India..

There, I met Madhu who had just started Saheli Women in the rural village of Bhikamkor. Together with a group of extraordinary women and their sewing machines, she was building something much bigger than clothing: independence, confidence, community, and hope.

I started out selling my vintage finds on the Berlin market..

One afternoon, we sketched a simple dress on a paper napkin. That little drawing became the very first ZAZI dress. Back in my tiny student bedroom, we launched with just seven ikat dresses.

It got picked up by the press!
