INTRODUCING THE LIVING HERITAGE COLLECTION

S1E5 - Twin Flames

Twin Flames β€” A Light That Has Always Danced
Some objects are made to be used. This one was made to be witnessed.

A double-arm vilakku in brass and wood, cast in the South Indian tradition β€” two apsaras dancing at the centre, each arm rising to an oil cup crowned by a perched parrot. The colonial influence lives in the tiered wooden plinth; the soul remains entirely Dravidian. Every figure, every petal, every curl of the base was shaped by hand before fire fixed it forever.
Light two wicks and watch the dancers come alive.

S1E4 - Raja Vaasal

Raja Vaasal β€” The King's Doorway

Some doors don't just open. They announce.

This antique Karaikudi door carries the soul of a Chettinad mansion β€” hand-carved rosewood frame, Burma teak panels, and brass ring pulls. The peacock frieze at the crown is not decoration. It is a declaration.

Crafted in an era when a home's entrance was its first act of hospitality, Raja Vaasal stands as a reminder that the threshold was always sacred.

Now available through Visamgi's Living Heritage Collection β€” to live in a home that remembers.

INTRODUCING LIVING HERITAGE COLLECTION

S1E3 - Kinnal Nayika

She has been carved for over 500 years.
Born in the artisan village of Kinnal, Karnataka β€” this Nayika figurine is not just a wooden sculpture. She is a keeper of stories. Of devotion. Of a craft that only a handful of families still know how to make.

No two are ever the same. Each one carries the quiet fingerprint of the hand that made her.

This artform has been displayed in the Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 2

INTRODUCING LIVING HERITAGE COLLECTION

S1E2 - The Yali

For centuries, the Yali stood guard at the entrance of India's greatest temples.

Carved into the pillars of Meenakshi Amman and Lepakshi, the Yali was never just decoration β€” it was protection. A force placed at thresholds to hold strength and keep the sacred, sacred.

This handcrafted Yali carries that same intention. Silent. Watchful. Powerful.
Not just a form… a force that stands with you. πŸ›•

INTRODUCING LIVING HERITAGE COLLECTION

S1E1 - Royal Perch

Two of India's most ancient materials. One commanding form.

The peacock at the top β€” hand-cast in brass and copper by craftsmen who have shaped metal by firelight for generations. Below it, a turned pillar of Burma Teak β€” one of the world's most prized hardwoods, warm in grain and quiet in its dignity.
Together, they become the Royal Perch. A piece that doesn't ask for attention. It simply commands the room.
Not merely an object β€” a presence. 🀎
